The working part of a bush hammer tool is the carbide. So, the quality of the carbides is very important. There are some different carbides grades sold on the marketing – YG6, YG8, YG10, etc. After being tested, Sunny Superhard Tools found that YG8 is the proper grade to be used on bush hammer tools, based on the performance and price. The following is the comparison of the physical parameters between YG6 and YG8 tungsten carbides:
