What makes a concrete grinding disc great? The diamond segment formulas. Different applications need different diamond formulas. The diamond segment comes in diamond particles and bonding agent(can be resin bond or metal bond). We mix the powder. When buying diamond grinding discs, you need to confirm 2 things: the diamond grit and the bonding grade(hard bond, soft bond, etc.).

Diamond Grit:
Diamond grit is the measurement of diamond particles. The bigger of grit number, the smaller of the diamond particle size. So, if you want to do the coarse grinding, you need to a diamond grinding disc with a small diamond grit number.

Bonding Agent:
The bonding agent is used for holding the function part of a diamond segment – the diamond particles. It needs to be consumed so that the diamond particles can be exposed to do the cutting, grinding, or drilling. Different concretes have different hardnesses. Sunny Superhard Tools divided the hardness of concrete floor into 7 grades. Every grade needs a different type of bonding agent. Please check the chart as follows:

This Lavina diamond grinding shoe is equipped with 2 octagonal segments. With 16 grit diamonds, it is used for the coarse grinding of the concrete and terrazzo floors. The very hard bond for grinding the very soft concrete floor. Sunny Superhard Tools offers you different types of excellent diamond grinding shoes with different bonds & grits, for doing different grinding jobs.
